Believe Launches US Label & Artist Solutions Division

Paris-headquartered Believe is expanding its footprint in the world’s largest music market with the official launch of its Label & Artist Solutions (LAS) division in the United States.
To lead the rollout, the company has appointed Thomas Maxwell as Vice President of US Label & Artist Solutions. He will report directly to Romain Vivien, who oversees the company’s global music operations.
The move marks a significant step in Believe’s long-term strategy of building localized infrastructure in major music markets. The company has spent two decades developing artist and label partnerships across multiple regions, and the US launch is designed to strengthen its position within the independent sector at scale.
In his new role, Maxwell will be responsible for driving the growth of Believe’s LAS division across the United States. His remit includes securing partnerships with independent labels, supporting artist development, and expanding the company’s overall presence in a highly competitive market.
Maxwell will operate across key music hubs including New York City, Nashville, and Los Angeles. His focus will be on building out operations while positioning Believe as a long-term partner for independent labels navigating an increasingly complex digital landscape.
Before joining Believe, Maxwell played a central role at IDOL, where he launched and led the company’s first US office. During his tenure, he worked on partnerships with a range of independent labels including Mexican Summer, Young Art, The Ray Charles Foundation, HighNote Records, Old Soul Music, Roundhill, and Acrophase Records.
He also contributed to campaigns for artists such as Erick the Architect, Ginger Root, Tokimonsta, Cate Le Bon, Channel Tres, Yaeji, George Clanton, and Drugdealer.
With this launch, Believe is making a clear push to strengthen its role in the US independent ecosystem by combining its global infrastructure with on-the-ground expertise.
